Quiet Diesel™ Series Earns Lloyd's Type Approval
Sometimes, the best evidence of product quality and performance comes from other sources than the manufacturer. Cummins Onan, the leading marine generator set brand, is proud to announce that it has been granted a Lloyd's Register Type Approval for its line of Cummins Onan QD - Quiet Diesel - product line (from 4 to 99 kW).
Lloyd's Register states that Cummins Onan Marine Generators have been successfully tested in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Lloyd's Register Type Approval System for Marine, offshore and industrial applications.
Cummins Onan has become the first marine generator manufacturer to achieve this level of quality approval for its entire QD diesel line. Even the 4/5 QD is capable of meeting the Lloyd's Register requirements.
